I don't have a car. If my program runs courses at both the Washington, DC Center and the Homewood (Baltimore) campus, can I register for courses at two locations?

JHU does not provide transportation between these campuses. It is important to note that the Homewood campus in Baltimore is approximately 42 miles (68 km) from Washington, D.C.

Students without cars should select only one campus as public transportation could be cumbersome. Consult with your academic adviser in course selection. Students can travel via public transportation between Baltimore and the Washington DC Center by taking the Homewood shuttle to the MARC train at Penn Station. Once you have arrived at Union Station, you can either take the red line metro to Judiciary Square and walk to 555 Pennsylvania Avenue NW or take the red line metro to Gallery Place and switch to the green line to arrive at the closest stop, Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter. In addition, a student with a U.S. driver’s license can rent Zipcars.
