Are classes synchronous or asynchronous?

AAP online courses are asynchronous. Students access course materials at individually desired times; however, there are deadlines for assignments and discussions throughout the week. Students actively share learning through readings, assignments, group activities, and threaded discussions as guided by their instructor. Course format and structure promote active and interactive learning.
